Code of Ethics

Practitioners at the Meeting Place bring to their work a deep reverence for each person and their story. They abide by the Code of Ethics of the Queensland Transpersonal and Emotional Release Association.

The code covers matters such as Informed Consent, Counsellors’ Responsibilities, Professional Competence, Practitioner/Client relationships, Confidentiality and Integrity, Grievance Procedures, etc.

Practioners are required to have 40 hours of supervision each year. Material brought to supervision is subject to confidentiality. Details that could identify a client to the supervisor are omitted from the supervisory session.

All personal information entrusted to practitioners in sessions and courses is held in strict confidence. Information subject to privacy laws is not passed on to a third party without the express permission of the person concerned.

The full code of ethics and our privacy policy are available on request.
